I have caught myself allowing boredom to set in a few times, and if you don’t keep an eye out, boredom can easily slip into depression.
So with that said: here are 5 things you can do to stay on top of your game during ‘rona.
1. Start a Project:
What is that one thing you’ve been wanting to do forever but didn’t have enough time to start?
Well now you have all the time in the world. Is it to create an online course? Create a workbook? Start a YouTube channel or blog? Whatever it is…use the time you would have given to getting the kiddos ready or commuting and hash it out every day. If you put 2 hours toward it everyday…by the end of April you would have put 60 hours toward your project. Little by little.
2. Closet Detox:
3. Home Refreshing:
So this is not spring cleaning per se. This is more about furniture and decor. I have been feeling a bit drab with my livingroom for a while. So I started with a new very colorful rug that was out of my comfort zone yet connected with my spirit(I knew it was where I desired to be in the future).
So now that the rug is here I am building around it, with pillows, repainting my tv stand, purchasing new artwork after I sell my current pieces. It’s renewing my spirit as I do piece by piece. It’s also helping my family to stay upbeat during this difficult time.
So find something to change in the central part of your home. Start with the end in mind and work your way backwards.
Eek…I know. But it needs to be done. Hoe many times have you bought something for the kids only to go in their rooms and see that they still have unworn sandals, Jean’s, dresses, tops from last year and you just spent money you didn’t have to, when they really needed only sock & undies. With 4 kids this happens to me alot. Especially when my girls were little.
I discovered that taking inventory of what they had, what sizes, seasons, and what could be kept and passed down saved me alot of time and mental space when shopping for summer clothes.
5. Take an online course:
